Based in Boston, Merch Music launched in 2008 with the mission to help independent musicians cut their CD manufacturing costs but still provide an up-to-date way to distribute their music in the physical world. After realizing that music downloading was reducing the price of music to essentially nothing, we developed a way to combine a musician’s music with an interesting physical piece of merchandise that couldn't be downloaded, allowing the musician to make more of a profit with their music.
